I thought I knew you,
But in the blink of an eye,
Now you’re a stranger.

***

Sigh, do you not know,
That it is not just ‘bout you?
I too have suffered.

**

Often I wonder,
Have I not proven enough?
Am I always flawed?

***

Double shot latte,
Tastes no more bitter than,
My life at present.

***

Like soaring thunder,
Your voice broke the daylight peace,
And I was left numb.

***

You don’t know, do you?
Just like the time that’s gone by,
She and I are hurt.

***

I need to look strong,
And show, life will go on,
So Tears, stop falling…

***

When tears have all dried,
When silence finally dawned,
Life came to a stop.

***

For all the pain cast,
Upon this enduring hear,
I know, God will ease.

A conversation,
From eyes to eyes, heart to heart,
Has broadened the mind.

***

As I dived deeper,
I found beyond what it seemed,
A pleasant surprise.

***

The first time I breathed
Since I chased worldly riches,
My burden lightened.

***

The man stands in pride,
But when she smiles, and bids peace,
His heart melts away.

***

Are you okay, Friend?
Simple yet powerful words,
That save many lives.

Be patient, and serve,
For your Lord forsook you not,
and will heal your pain.

***

Once upon a time,
We rested on a crossroad,
Swiftly we diverged.

***

When I become old,
Will the desire within,
Die and disappear?

A surah I read,
The Glorious Morning Light,
Food for troubled soul.

***

Spring season has come,
'Tis time for the fallen hearts,
To arise and bloom.

***

'Tis not goodbye, Love,
Though from your sight I'll be gone,
You'll remain, within.

Time has swiftly passed,
And the flame begins to die,
Now gone is the pain.

***

True it bleeds no more,
But the scar will always stay,
I will not forget.

***

If it ever comes,
Our path crosses once more,
Will I walk on by?

**

He tore down a wall,
Of pride and false strength she built,
And 'Farewell', he left.
